A Fast Flush unit is used to sump aboveground storage tanks containing aviation fuel before a delivery is made to an airport hydrant system or to Aviation Re-Fueling Vehicles as recommended by:
ATA Specification 103 – Standard for Jet Fuel Quality Control at Airports, and
API/EI 1550 Handbook on Equipment Used for the Maintenance and Delivery of Clean Aviation Fuel.
